I have a great photo I would like to sell. How can I sell it? You start selling your photos by registering as a Photographer with a PRO account first, and next you can start uploading your work. Before you start, there are 2 important things to know: it is only allowed to upload photos that are really made by you yourself. Uploading photos which do not belong to you is illegal. if there are recognizable faces of people in your work, you need a so-called "Model release" which allows you to publish and market the work. You can dowload a standard Model release here. These 2 points are very important and are your own responsibility, as described in detail in the Terms & Conditions you agree to when you join our site. First you sign up (only required one) and next you can start uploading your photos by going to the "My account" menu. Next you click on "Upload" next to "My Stock" or "My special" and you get to the upload menu. If you have many files to upload, it is best to click on "Upload" next to "My batch". You only need to upload your file 1 time in 1 size larger than 2048x1536 pixels. After uploading the files are checked by our staff, and after approval your work is published on this website (protected with a watermark). If you upload a stockphoto, the website automatically creates 3 smaller sizes of your uploaded file. All visitors can then see, hear and buy your work. How much money will I make with selling my photos? Everytime one of your photos is sold, you get 70% of the amount paid by the buyer. If you are a PRO member, you can even get 100% by using the Direct Sales system that collects all payments directly into your own PayPal account. Otherwise the money is stored in your account, and once it is above Euro 100 you can withdraw the money from your account. The external costs we have to pay to the payment processors PayPal, MoneyBookers and iDEAL for paying to and receiving money from our members are deducted from pay out and are set to 10%. The more your photos are sold, the more money you make. Some are sold only twice, others are sold hundred times a year. What photo-size is required? If you upload your photos, please make sure the photos are 3 MegaPixel or larger. 3 Megapixel is the same as 2048 x 1536 pixels. There are also quality requirements, as you can read in Photo approval How can I buy and download? Buying and downloading photos is very easy to do and takes less than a minute. First you need to sign up (only needed once), then you login and next you purchase credits which you use for buying photos. How much does a download cost? There are 2 different product categories available: Stock photos and images The photo you upload is listed as XXL size with a price of 10 credits. The website automatically creates 4 smaller sizes of your file with different prices: XL for 8 credits, L for 6 credits, M for 5 credits and S for 2.5 credits. 1 credit is 1 Euro. Special photos and images Special photos and images are priced by the photographer. This makes it possible for photographers to charge different prices for their most exclusive or most special work. You upload your photo in 1 size and it is for sale only in this size. I would like to buy photos. What am I allowed to do with these? Among others, you are free to use the photos: -in a company brochure, catalogue, flyer ,website, advertising, ebook -as a part of your design and artwork-on your phone, laptop and PC-and crop and edit the photos and images ..and what is not allowed? The resale and/or redistribution of the works is strictly prohibited and you may not reproduce works for the purpose of resale. What currency are these prices in? All of our prices are listed in Euro, the currency of the European Union . Your payout and billing will be in Euro. For exchange rates you can use this website. What do XXL, XL, L, M mean? These letters indicate the size of the photo. What are PayPal and iDEAL accounts? These are online accounts you can use to receive and pay money with. We have chosen these payment processors as they are highly secure, reliable and low cost. You only need a bank account or credit card to open a free account. If you use Batch upload, the maximum upload size for 1 batch upload is 200MB. Free memberships have a maximum of 500MB.
